Betsy Sansby, Counseling for Individuals, Couples, Families Betsy Sansby, MS
"Betsy was the only one who grabbed my flailing hand and pulled me out, and kept me from drowning. I'll never forget it!" -Client-

A note from Betsy:
When you're really struggling, you need more than a good listener. You need someone who can sort through the details fast, and get you moving in a healthier direction as quickly as possible.
You can expect me to:
-- Ask direct questions
-- Notice what others miss
-- Tell you what I really think
-- Care about your well-being
-- Insist you do your homework
-- Make each step as easy as possible

Don't expect me to:
-- Sit and nod
-- Agree with you all the time
-- Avoid difficult topics
-- Work harder than you do
-- Perform miracles very often
Once we identify the patterns of behavior and habits of mind that are causing you problems, we'll come up with a plan for how to change them. Each time we meet, we'll talk about what's working and what isn't, and I'll give you concrete tools you can take home and practice with between sessions, so you're always making progress--even when I'm not around.
Office hours and setting: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 9:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:30am to 12:30pm I answer my own phones. I don't work evenings. You can see my home office in the banner above.
Email and Phone Sessions: I offer email and phone sessions to current clients only. This option is great for people who travel a lot or hate driving as much as I do. I can usually return calls within a couple of hours.
Fees: Most therapists offer 45-50 minute sessions, but I do not. My fees are based on a full 60-minute or a 90-minute session. I don't like clients to feel rushed.
Clients may choose a 60-minute session for $140, or a 90-minute session for $200. All couples or family sessions are 90-minutes. Payment is due at the time of service. I do not accept insurance, although some clients have succeeded at getting their insurance carrier (including Blue Cross and Medica Choice) to cover a percentage of their therapy. I accept PayPal, VISA and MasterCard. Payment is due at the start of each session.
